Postdoctoral Researchers

We are actively looking for postdoctoral candidates to join us in research topics such as engineering biomaterials to enhance tissue regeneration through immunomodulation, promoting stem cell differentiation, or engineering 3D cancer models for discovering novel therapies. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong expertise in immunology, cancer biology, biomaterials, high-dimensional sequencing tools, and animal models.

Graduate Students

We can only accept students who have already been admitted to Stanford. Please apply directly to the graduate programs in departments that suit your background the best if you are interested in joining the Yang lab. We have a highly interdisciplinary team, and our past and current graduate students come from various graduate programs, including Bioengineering, Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, medical students, and MSTP students. If you are highly motivated by our research mission and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and collaborative team setting, reach out to inquire about a rotation!

Undergraduate Student

We are always looking for passionate and dedicated undergraduate researchers to join our lab, with the goal of contributing significantly and generating co-authored publications. Our lab has a group of wonderful and hardworking undergraduates from various disciplines, and they play a significant role in our lab research. If this aligns with what you are looking for, please email Prof. Yang with your information as described above.
