Postdoctoral Researcher

We are actively looking for postdoc candidates to join us in research topics such as engineering biomaterials to enhance tissue regeneration through immunomodulation or promote stem cell differentiation or engineering 3D cancer models for discovering novel therapies. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong expertise in immunology, cancer biology, biomaterials, high-dimensional sequencing tools, and animal models. 

Graduate Student

We can only accept students that have already been admitted to the Stanford programs. Please apply directly to the graduate programs in departments that suit your background the best if you are interested in joining the Yang lab. We have a highly interdisciplinary team, and our past and current graduate students come from various graduate programs including Bioengineering, Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Medical students and MSTP students. If you are highly motivated by our research mission and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and collaborative team setting, reach out to inquire about a rotation!

Undergraduate Student

We always look for passionate and dedicated undergraduate researchers to join our lab, with the goal to contribute significantly to generate co-authored publications in the end. Our lab has a group of wonderful and hardworking undergrads from various disciplines, and they play a significant role in our lab research.
