Congratulations to three of our bioengineering PhD students for passing their qualifying exams with flying colors. Manish's thesis work will focus on elucidating the mechanisms of how molecular mobility modulates stem cell fates in 3D using sliding hydrogels. Cassandra's thesis work will seek to incorporate tissue-derived extracellular matrix (ECM) into our patented microribbon scaffolds as a novel 3D platform for enhancing bone tissue regeneration and immunomodulation. Callan's thesis work will harness our lab's expertise in engineering 3D primary bone cancer models for discovering novel therapeutics and elucidating drug resistance mechanisms.
Congrats to Manish, Casandra and Callan for passing PhD qualifying exams with flying colors!
